Alex began her career playing Dorothy in the WIZARD OF OZ at the Olympia Theatre, Dublin, since then she has had the opportunity to perform extensively throughout the world in various capacities as a performer.

Alex played the role of Eponine for 2 years in Cameron MacKintosh’s UK National tour of LES MISERABLES, and the Concert tour of Scandinavia.

In 2008 Alex was invited to be one of the soloists with the PBS sensation and global success CELTIC WOMAN with whom she toured North America for three years in A NEW JOURNEY, ISLE OF HOPE, the Emmy nominated SONGS FROM THE HEART and most recently on their 10th ANNIVERSARY TOUR in 2015.

As part of the group she has had the opportunity to perform live on, Dancing with the Stars,Regis and Kelly, The Today Show, Good Morning America,The National Christmas Tree Lighting 2009,  appearances at Radio City Hall, Red Rocks, along with TV appearances in China and Japan.
 
 
 
Alex appears as a guest soloist on Jenny Oaks Baker’s Christmas Album "NOEL" produced and arranged by Kurt Bestor.
In August 2012 she was guest soloist on the 25th Anniversary of “A KURT BESTOR CHRISTMAS”  SLC, Utah and with Craig Jessop and the AMERICAN FESTIVAL CHORUS AND ORCHESTRA at the Ellen Eccles Theatre, Logan, Utah Dec 2012.
 
December 2013 Alex performed with Jenny Oaks Baker at the FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS at the Washington DC Temple and with the ANNAPOLIS CHAMBER ORCHESTRA AND CHORALE at the Live Arts Centre Maryland.
 
In April 2014 she released her debut solo album “BE STILL MY SOUL”
 
In 2015 she performed her debut solo concertONE HEART ONE VOICELogan, Utah and appeared as guest soloist with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on MUSIC AND THE SPOKEN WORD.
